| Description |
Farm is on tributary off Humphreys Creek in Ballard County just East of Ballard refuge. Last duck hole up stream from refuge.
Approxitmately 20 acres flooded with about 15 in corn and 5 or so in millet. Two seperate holes, 15 acres and 5 acres. Three blinds, 2 floating and one pit. Well in place with electric. Farm kills from 250 to 600 ducks a season depending on how soon the ducks get to our area and ofcourse how much its hunted. This farm needs to be hunted 3 to 4 times a week at different times of the day to keep holding ducks. It is an exceptional goose killer as well when they show up. I can personally vouch for both the duck and goose hunting.
There is a 5 or 6 acre lake as well that is full of big bass and hybrid bluegill. Some of the timber was left standing when flooded. Beautiful building site overlooking lake and duck hole.
Great deer and turkey hunting as well.
Sellers crop income was $10,000 this past year. |
