Farm consist of big ridges and hollows with excellent bedding, small food plots scattered, great thickets and small ponds. Farm is situated next to the Jones Keeney Wildlife area which allows you to hunt alot of ground without spending a fortune. Very little hunting pressure on this part of the wildlife area because of the remoteness where it ties into this tract. Lots of big deer in this area because of the vastness, excellent cover and lots of crop ground in the area.
There are several main ridges that feed down into a major creek bottoms. The food plots are running up and down this creek bottoms. These ridges that feed into the creek bottoms all have excellent bedding right out on the tips of them making it easy for the deer to feed in the plots without having to travel a long distance. Another words the bigger bucks feel more comfortable feeding in this situation and there more likely to be seen in daylight hours. Great turkey hunting as well. |
